On our 5-minute show on Wednesday, the 28th of January, 2015 we discussed five things to know about your diet and your health.

Why may a ‘no-fat’ diet not be a great idea?

(To qualify for the grand finale draw, all winners should send in pictures of themselves wearing their Power Oil aprons and cooking up a storm in the kitchen using Power Oil. The winners will be revealed in the 12th week.)

A no fat diet may not be a great idea because your body will get its fuel from somewhere like your carbohydrate and this leads your body to have alot of sugar spice.

A no-fat diet may not be a great idea because it has many health risks. It is better to go for a low-fat diet than non at all. The health risks are depression, cance(the person has increased risk of cancer), high cholesterol and heart disease, poor vitamin absorption, inbalance of nutrients like carbohydrates, overeating( the person has high tendency of always feeling empty). It is better to go for healthy fats like avacado, etc.

A no fat diet is not the best idea because our body still need fat to sustain itself. Going for good fat and having enough exercise is the best

A no fat diet may not be a good idea because the body needs to get it from somewhere, like when you are running up the stairs you need something to fuel all of that. So going for a no fat diet the body will get the energy from carbs that will actually leave the body to having lots of sugar.
