#HLWDK Daily Health Tips: Satisfying That Sweet Tooth!


Still on the quest to turn 'sinful' into healthy and failing that, at least 'more healthy' πŸ˜€ My sweet tooth woke me up today πŸ™‚ Decided to make fritters. I had some super soft bananas and carrots. I thought I had at least one apple…but alas, none! I grated the carrots and mashed the bananas. Added every other thing – flour (use ground oatmeal if you have that), an egg, a table spoon of sugar (substitute with honey if you have that. A tablespoon is plenty because, remember that the bananas and carrots are quite sweet), a teaspoon of cinnamon and two heaped tablespoons of powdered milk. Added about half a cup of water so that the consistency is slightly thick. Heat the oil for frying and when hot, fry spoonfuls of the batter. The crunch of the carrots, its sweetness combined with that of bananas (and apples if you added it) was enough to satisfy my sweet craving this morning πŸ˜€ So…how do you satisfy your cravings, in slightly less sinful ways πŸ˜€ if you have a sweet tooth?
