Banana smoothies are easy to prepare and great pick-me-ups after exercise. The potassium in banana prevents muscle cramps and so, you’re super-pumped up and ready to go!
What you need?
2 medium sized bananas
Milk or yoghurt
Optional: spinach or any other green leafy veggy
Add peeled bananas to the blender
Use milk or yoghurt. Quantity to be used depends on the consistency you desire. I use milk when I want it to be a drink (liquid consistency).
Whizz it all up in the blender.
Pour out into a tall glass cup!
For that extra nutritional zing, add a handful of spinach before pouring out the smoothie. Blend it all up.
